Here are the details of what the Chinese government wants to do.

Thanks to the trillions of dollars that the Chinese have made flooding our shores with cheap products, China is now in a position of tremendous economic power. So what is China going to do with all of that money? One thing that they have decided to do is to buy up pieces of the United States and set up "special economic zones" inside our country from which they can continue to extend their economic domination. One of these "special economic zones" would be just south of Boise, Idaho and the Idaho government is eager to give it to them. China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach for short) plans to construct a "technology zone" south of Boise Airport which would ultimately be up to 50 square miles in size. The Chinese Communist Party is the majority owner of Sinomach, so the 10,000 to 30,000 acre "self-sustaining city" that is being planned would essentially belong to the Chinese government. The planned "self-sustaining city" in Idaho would include manufacturing facilities, warehouses, retail centers and large numbers of homes for Chinese workers. Basically it would be a slice of communist China dropped right into the middle of the United States.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the idea would be to build a self-contained city with all services included. It would be modeled after the "special economic zones" that currently exist in China.

Perhaps the most famous of these "special economic zones" is Shenzhen. Back in the 1970s, Shenzhen was just a very small fishing village. Today it is a sprawling metropolis of over 14 million people.

If the Chinese have their way, we will soon be seeing these "special economic zones" pop up all over the United States.
It will never happen, the part about setting up their communist government here.
It will happen here because most Americans will do nothing about it.

ClosetIguana: Now your question seems to be: What would happen in the USA with a Communist takeover. Very simply put, it would be one of two things: Enough people would not give a damn as our freedoms are taken away, capitalism is abolished completely and incentive dies, making it really easy for Communism to succeed. -OR- Enough people who love the United States of America would rise up and there would be civil war, necessarily. They would give their lives (for yours, too) to try to keep us free. My prediction is the former because too many people expect others to do the hard work. I pray that I am wrong. I fear that I am not. The last part of the answer to your question is everyone becomes a slave to the state, owning nothing, complete obeying of new laws or being killed. Machinery will break down, not repaired. You will be given almost what you need to survive, which will be bleak. We will truly have two classes: The Elites and us.

I forgot to say--they believe they have already purchased whatever they want to take from us through unpaid loans to us--they want us to give he land to them in lieu of paying them back.

Do you have any idea how many countries Chinese owned corporations are in? They aren't trying to take over America or the world. They're simply trying to do what ever other multi-national corporation is trying to do, make a profit.
I am mostly concerned about about China wanting to set up a communist government here.

Far too many people just don't want to be bothered outside of their comfort zones: sports, friends, hobbies and the like. These people probably vote but fail to see the big picture of their actions, fearing that they may be affected somehow. Sure it is nice to want every living soul to have a big screen tv, cell phone and other "toys".
We can't have it all and some can't even have "toys". Do you ever stop to think how all of the "toys" will be paid for? The so-call "rich" are not only Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey and Michael Moore. Have you ever thought about WHO is "rich"?; you may be one of them.
This ballot should make you really think and check out facts and begin thinking for yourself, before it is too late.
So give me any example of how a communist government takeover would happen.

And China HAS asked Idaho to give them 50 square acres of land on which to set up a Chinese country replete with their communist government. The would make us like a European continent with more than one another country inside its perimeter. And what if this Chinese country where 50 square acres of Idaho used to be decides to wage war with us?

No German, prior to the 1930s, thought there would be a government organized extermination of 10 million Christians, 20 million Russians, 200 Catholic Priests, six million Jews and thousands of disabled (mental/physical), political dissidents and homosexuals, until Hitler.
No American thought their Constitution would be diluted with sharia law.

Yes governments get overthrown all the time. The Soviet Union, Iraq to what's happen in Egypt.

Not what, how. How would Chinese owned corporations inside of the U.S overthrow the U.S government?
Obfuscate.
Give me any example. Make up a believable Hollywood version.

First of all I want to say thank-you for your extraordinary advice for how I can get more sleep, I was very impressed and it is greatly appreciated.

I also really hope this scenario with China doesn't come true, but anything can happen in this world. America struggles constantly with the deficit, unemployment and inflation. Of course, one thing that always holds true as that 'Freedom is not free.' Yep, no free rides in this world, have to fight for your freedom or be somebody's slave some way or another. And sadly, I think most of us Americans are WAY too dependent on the government for solving our problems.

That's my input, sorry it was so poorly thought out, but as anyone can probably tell I don't know much about this subject, oopsies
The reality is China has more to fear about the encroaching of democracy then the U.S has of the encroaching of communism.
It's funny to read this.

Just how paranoid are americans? They run around meddling in things that have absolutely nothing to do with them causing destruction and death everywhere they go.

Yet when faced with something as innocuous as a business transaction they go paranoid and ballistic.

I think the biggest problem in the world right now is preventing america from global hegemony and thankfully countries like china are in a position to do this.

In all honesty I trust china more than I do american corporations and I don't see that changing.

This idea of taking over america by creating business opportunities within the states is absolutely fucking laughable.

Whether the privately owned property is owned by China or Neo Nazis, it is still subject to abide by State and Federal Law.

It's no different then if the Chinese Government puchased a vacation retreat or manufacturing facility, there's no immunity from violating US laws.
