liberal: Ignores crime, taxes the living daylights out of the middle/upper classes (who have worked very hard for it) and gives it to poor school dropouts who will probaBLY just spend it on drugs, wants to let the entire third world in to his/her country, gives minorities and women more and more rights, while taking away the white mans rights etc

Wow, I didn't know that. Do you speak from experience? ;) Conservative love to sling mud, too, seemingly. Peace. IMHO ... Liberals tend to be concerned with the welfare of others and of society. Conservatives seem to be primarily concerned with not getting screwed or being taken advantage of and in making sure life is conducive to their preferences. Generally ... a matter of compassion. Preperation H - Give Women rights? surely not! Whats the world coming to I ask myself. I even heard they have now got the right to vote - Fucking disgraceful! That was sarcasm by the way. If all you care about is money, God, guns and abortion, then you're a Conservative. If all you care about is your quality of life, your Constitutional Rights, supporting your family, and someday retiring, then your a Liberal. You know, it varies from person to person. It depends on the level of aggression in the person. I am conservative and have many liberal friends. I think we can all agree that we disagree on political issues as long as no one tried to cram it down anothers throat. ;) anon: I disagree. Many lower socio-economic folks are conservative due to social issues. And one stereotypical liberal category is the East-Coast Intellectual. Tads: A non-extremist view ... I would agree with that! Just my 2 cents Liberal - Supports personal rights, except they support discrimination against Whites and Asians, oppose economic freedom and support "wealth redistribution" (theft), oppose death penalty but support abortion. It's where your beliefs and priorities lie... Liberals: Pro-choice, for gun control, higher taxes for the wealthy, less military, etc. Basic belief: The government should be involved in meeting all of the needs of the people. Conservatives: Pro-life, for the right to bear arms, equal taxation, more military, etc. Basic belief: Each person should be responsible for meeting their own needs with minimal involvement of the government.

Check it out: the conservative's distributive principle of social justice is in essence the same as the libertarian's: "From each according to his choice, to each according to his product." Libertarians are just more extreme. Liberals, however, follow the distributive principle of "Political equality and economic liberty for all." It comes down to the question of, do you believe all people are created equal, or don't you? The bitch of it is that on the surface, people manifestly AREN'T. compassion for particular causes.. im sure everyone agrees with that
