Or both? The human error factor is enough by itself for me to believe that capital punishment shouldn't exist. As for torture, I wish the same concern was shown when Burge tortured people (including very definitely innocent people, according to DNA evidence) into confessing to murder in Chicago a few years back. That's not even to mention Gitmo, Ahbu Graib, and so on.
What about the pain the victim of the convicted murderer felt? Lethal injection is too good a way to go for most of these monsters.
According to what I read yesterday after this came out, Diaz had liver problems which they said led to the bad metabolism of the drugs used. The same thing also happened once before in Florida with the lethal injection. Either story could be true I guess. That's not the first time Florida's had problems. They were forced to ban the chemicals that they formerly used in the injections because they were not even humane enough to euthanize animals with.
Voted : Torture is worse...
I'd go with a firing squad if I had the choice.

There are a lot of things worse than death.
Diaz, a murderer, had cirrhosis of the liver, making uptake of the execution drugs very difficult. Poor baby. Wah.
