60% of all Americans are medically overweight. 30% of all Americans are medically obese. Fat is not a matter of appearance, it's a matter of health. Obesity is not healthy. You will probably have heart disease. How should we treat this (literally) burgeoning epidemic?

Encourage overweight people to diet and exercise.
Offer them support, and let them do as they please with their health.
Subject them to mockery.
Make everyone get fatter!
