COMMENTS:
I think you get called anti american for burning the flag and wishing for american deaths in iraq, not for opposing bush.
What Herzog said. Plus, many of us were once Democrats ourselves.
Who is president doesn't matter...You'll still be anti-american...doesn't change the fact
Anyone who calls someone anti-American for voicing dissent at the government immediately shows that they are either of low intelligence, low educational achievement, or brain washed by Pat Robertson and the Trinity Broadcasting Network. ... Look, the problem is that many of these Bush supporters are from the south and lack a college education. Young people learn in college the realities of their own government and how the real world operates... Bushites are stuck at the elementary school civics level where they think the USA is all good and can do no wrong. This mentality of course is so dangerous that it can lead to international chaos at the least and complete oblivion at home.
I call someone anti-American for being against the country itself, the principles it USED to stand on. That is what I call anti-American. Someone who hates our government, would simply be someone who hate's out government. An extremist of this I would call an anarchist. I don't think I have ever called someone from the United States an anti-American.
I do not think Republicans are those of low intelligence nor income. I do believe however that Democrats are of less intelligence. I mean they seem to think they need the government to provide everything for Americans. Totally opposite of what this country was founded upon. And more uneducated people do vote Democrat that is a fact...
Statistically, you're more likely to be a Republican and/or conservative if you're: a man a college graduate in the top income bracket an evangelical Christian living in a rural area a Thinker-Sensor Statistically, you're more likely to be a Democrat and/or liberal if you're: a woman a senior citizen gay nonwhite living in an urban area a Feeler-Intuitor
1FootOutTheDoor, haha, that was a load of crap..
Here is my source and a list of sources that they used for those statistics. http :// usconservatives . about . com / library / weekly / aapartydemographicsa . htm
Those who are doing all the screaming are raving right-wingnuts who would, in a perfect world, be IGNORED. I say that we try NOT to sink to their level. I KNOW, it's DAMN HARD. Sometimes when I glimpse in at the Republican News Network (AKA Fox), and I listen to the entire "fair and balanced" rigamarole, I can feel my gaskets starting to blow, and I start cursing the names of every Republican I can name- Let's just try not to go there, fellow Dems...
HOLY CRAP, herzog and Bostonian -- "wishing for American deaths in Iraq"? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Liberals don't wish for American deaths in Iraq -- not at all! That's just sad that you actually think we support that. That's untrue and just plain offensive.
Hee hee...ha ha....Kerry lost. Thank God most Americans are smart and didn't vote that traitor into office.
No one has the right to call someone else anti American just because of the way they vote. Didn’t your forefathers put free speech in the constitution?
